I have also had many problems overcoming an emotional and hurtful past. I also had a death wish and have had four suicide attempts and let me tell you - doing that will only make your life much, much worse. Its hard to cope with reality - I drank for a long time but that only destroyed my liver. I am in the middle of a very painful divorce involving two beautiful little boys. Life just sucks sometimes but you know what - it also great at times. I too rely on my faith (for a long time I blamed God for all my problems) The poem Footprints means a lot to me. Back to the stomach - YUCK!! - Seriously, I have had a colonoscopy and am now having a fibroid sigmoidoscopy July 6th which I am dreading. I get so tired of the constant diahhrea or extreme constipation - there is no in-between. Its very, very depressing having constant stomach problems and people who don't do not have IBS do not understand how much we suffer.
